Victoria D. Cepeida-Mojarro is currently the USAS (United Students Against Sweatshops) Development Coordinator. She began working for USAS in December of 2006. She attended New York University (NYU) where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Metropolitan Studies and Sociology in 2004. As a student Victoria was an activist with Latinos Unidos Con Honor y Amistad (LUCHA) where she worked for an implementation of a Latinos Studies Program. She also worked with Jobs with Justice NY, Student Labor Action Project (SLAP) where she partnered on campaigns with the UFCW, UAW, and SEIU. Victoria has spent time on immigration issues in Los Angeles as well as Latin American solidarity. Victoria identifies as Chicana, a lover, resister, activist, and artist.
