Xavier Lopez-Ayala
Xavier Lopez-Ayala most recently served as the Obama campaign's New Media Director in Minnesota. Prior to that, he worked on the Clinton campaign in several states and helped organize online activists. Xavier has experience working both for social networking sites and non- profits.
He sees the internet as a centralized location for awareness-raising and organizing efforts, but believes that online activism should supplement, not replace, the traditional on-the-ground organizing that has been the hallmark of progressive movement.
Xavier attends Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI, where he majors in Political Science.
