Announcing - the Wellstone Action Movement Building Project!

How do we, as progressives, take advantage of this "movement moment"?

As progressives, we find ourselves at an exciting tipping point.  The landscape has shifted in Washington and across the country.  And yet, it becomes clearer every day that elections are only one tool to affect meaningful change.  How do we, as progressives, take full advantage of this “movement moment”?

To help nonprofit organizations wrestling with this question, we are pleased to announce the launch of our newest program, the Wellstone Action Movement Building Project!

This program will build powerful, long-term movements for change by enhancing and connecting the electoral, public policy, and leadership development work of progressive nonprofit organizations.

With an impressive and experienced group of core trainers and advisers, a solid but flexible curriculum, and dozens of great nonprofit partners, the Movement Building Project represents a major commitment from Wellstone Action to helping lay the groundwork and build the infrastructure for long-term progressive change.

Check out this short video below explaining what we believe about the need to build movements, and look for more updates in the coming months!
