On Wednesday, March 24th Wellstone Action was honored by the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and MAP for Nonprofits with a Dot.Org Award, given to seven nonprofits for excellent use of technology.
Wellstone Action won the E-Organizing Award, for being a leader in using social media and other Web tools to offer rapid-response commentaries on significant events in the progressive movement, and for taking information one step further by using maps and other data visualization tools to tell a store about data.
Wellstone Action is honored to be in the company of the other great Dot.Org winners and to receive this recognition of our efforts to provide our members, fans, and followers with up-to-the-minute updates and trends in the progressive movement. Thank you!
